Caramel Corn by Stu

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbl. oil
  • 1/4 C. popcorn (6 cups popped popcorn)
  • 1/4 C. margarine/butter
  • 2 Tbl. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Cook 3 minutes, then add 1/8 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

For thinner caramel, add 1 T. oil and 2 T. corn syrup.
If it gets sticky, heat in 250 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
