Picnic Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • grated peel of 1/2 fresh orange
  • juice of 1 fresh orange
  • 3 tablespoons salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon dill weed
  • 2 cups curly or spiral pasta, cooked and drained
  • 2 oranges, peeled, seasoned and cut in quarters
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, parboiled just until tender crisp
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion
  • pepper, if desired

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large bowl, combine orange peel, orange juice, oil, seasoned salt and dill.

2. Add remaining ingredients. Toss gently. Taste and correct seasoning; adding more seasoned salt or pepper if needed. Chill until ready to serve.
