DELUXE OATMEAL RAISINETS COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • dash of salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups quick or old-fashioned oats
  • 2 1/4 cups (14 ounces) NESTLÉ RAISINETS Milk Chocolate-Covered Raisins
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.

COMBINE flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, Raisinets and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 1 minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
