Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 (8oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with pineapple, mixing well. Stir in vanilla. spoon batter into a greased and floured loafpan. Bake at 350 for 55 min. to 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing bread from pan.
