Spicy Teriyaki Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 to 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 24 small mushrooms (about 8 ounces), halved
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onion

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium sauce pan combine sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, crushed red pepper, ginger, and garlic powder. Add mushrooms and green onion. Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through.
