Ingredients

  • 8 cups rustic bread cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large stalks celery, sliced
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 3/4 tsp each dried thyme and sage
  • 1/2 tsp poultry seasonongs

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and lightly butter a 13x9in baking dish. Place bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10min to lightly toasted

2. Melt butter in a large skillet; add onion and garlic and cook for 10 min. Add celery and cook for 5 min more.

3. Stir together, vegies, bread, stock, herbs, and seasoning until stock is absorbed. Place in prepared baking dish and bake for 50-60 min or until heated through and lightly browned on top
