Linda Fox's Grilled Tuna

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 4 tuna filets
  • 1 T cracked white pepper
  • 1 T sesame seeds
  • 1 t kosher salt
  • 1/3 c fresh lime juice
  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 1 T fish sauce
  • 2 t sugar
  • 1 t minced jalapeno pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat tuna in pan until just toasted. Let sit at room temp for about 20 min. Combine next 3 ingredients in a bowl. Rub tuna with olive oil and dip in sesame mixture. Let sit a bit longer. Dip tuna filets in sauce and grill over white hot coals for about 1 1/2 min per side.

Combine all ingredients.
