Oriental Stir-Fried shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dry sherry or water
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2tbs soy sauce
  • 1tbs cornstarch
  • 1tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 pkg frozen, broccoli,cauliflower,snow peas
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1lb medium shrimp (shelled & devained)
  • 1/4 sliced almonds
  • 2 to 3 cups cooked white rice

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl, combine sherry, water,soy sauce, cornstach,and ginger; set aside

Heat oil in large skillet or wok over med high heat. Add vegetables, green onion and garlic. Cook and stir 5 to 8 min or until vegetables are crisp and tender.
Stir in cornstrach mixture, shrimp and almonds. Cook
and stir and additiona 4 to 6 min. or until shrimp are pink and mixture thickens.

serve over rice.
