Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 Tbs. peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix together all the ingredients in a bowl. The dough should be dry and stiff; add a little water if needed but don't get it too sticky or it is too hard to work with.
Roll the dough out until it's about 1/4-1/2 in. thick. Cut into 1/2 pieces. (I use a little dog bone shaped cookie cutter found at Hobby Lobby)
Place on cooking stone or cookie sheet. They do not spread out so you can put them very close together.
Bake for 40 minutes until hard.
