Ingredients
- Rum Sauce:
- 4 c chopped rhubarb
- 3 c cubed bread
- 1 &1/2 c milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1/4 c melted butter
- 1/4 c chopped nuts(opt)
- 1/4 c raisins (opt)
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/2 c milk
- 1 T oil
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 T flour
- 1 t nutmeg
- 1 t vanilla
- rum to taste(or run extract)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together rhubarb, melted butter, bread, sugar, milk, eggs,cinnamon, nutmeg , vanilla and optional nuts.
Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or till pudding sets.
Boil milk, add butter, sugar, nutmeg. Mix together as a paste, oil, flour, rum. Add to milk mixture, stir till thickened.
Let cool
