Ingredients
- 3 T flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 lb round steak, cut into pieces
- 1 T shortening
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1 can whole potatoes
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 1 T worcestershire
- 2 tsp bell pepper flakes
- 1 pkg frozen beans
Preparation
Step 1
Mix spices and flour. Pound into both sides of meat. Brown in hot shortening, add onion. Stir fry until tender. Add enough water to potato liquid to make 1 cup. Mix with buillon, ketchup, worcestershire and flakes. Cover, simmer 1 1/4 hours or until tender. Add potatoes and beans. Heat until boiling--cover, simmer 10 mins.
