Ravioli Brown Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp snipped fresh basil, sage, oragano, Italian parsley, and/or chives or 1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp grated or shredded Pecorino Romano, Asiago,Parmigiano-Reggiano, and/or Parmesean cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a med saucepan, combine butter and garlic. Cook and stir over med heat until butter is melted. Cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until butter is lightly browned, stirring occasionally and skimming foam, if neccessary. Remove from heat. Stir in herbs and a dash of black pepper. Drizzle sauce over cooked ravioli. Sprinkle with cheese.
