Lemon Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. corm startch
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 2 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp. butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together cornstartch, sugar, lemon peel and cold water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until clear and slightly thickened. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice and butter. Stir gently until butter is melted.

Serve hot.
