Ingredients
- 4 cloves roasted garlic, skins left on
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Place the garlic on a small sheet of foil and form a pouch. Pour the oil on the garlic and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of the salt.
2. Roast for 35 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. Place the butter in a small bowl. Squeeze the garlic out of its skins onto the butter.
3. Add remaining salt and mash with a wooden spoon to combine. Chill the butter until needed, but bring to room temp. before spreading.
