Ingredients
- 6 Pork chops
- 1 T Oil
- 3/4 ¾ C Water
- 1/2 ½ t Paprika
- 1/2 ½ t Pepper
- 1 1/4 1 ¼ t Salt, divided use
- 1 Orange
- 1/2 ½ C Sugar
- 1 T Cornstarch
- 1/2 ½ t Cinnamon
- 1/2 ½ t Cloves
- 1 C Orange Juice
Preparation
Step 1
1.Brown chops in oil on both sides. Add water, paprika, pepper and 1 t salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 35 minutes, turning once.
2. Grate peel of orange for 1 T, cut orange into 6 slices. In saucepan, combine orange peel, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves and ¼ t salt. Cook and stir until thickened. Add orange slices.
3. Pour sauce over chops and serve.
