Ingredients

    Pork chops

  • 1

    T Oil

  • 3/4

    ¾ C Water

  • 1/2

    ½ t Paprika

  • 1/2

    ½ t Pepper

  • 1 1/4

    1 ¼ t Salt, divided use

  • 1

    Orange

  • 1/2

    ½ C Sugar

  • 1

    T Cornstarch

  • 1/2

    ½ t Cinnamon

  • 1/2

    ½ t Cloves

  • 1

    C Orange Juice

Directions

1.Brown chops in oil on both sides. Add water, paprika, pepper and 1 t salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 35 minutes, turning once. 2. Grate peel of orange for 1 T, cut orange into 6 slices. In saucepan, combine orange peel, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves and ¼ t salt. Cook and stir until thickened. Add orange slices. 3. Pour sauce over chops and serve.
