APPLE CRISP DELIGHT

This was a standard dessert every fall when the new crop of apples was available.

Ingredients
- 6 - 8 apples, cored and sliced
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Place apples in a greased, 2-qt. baking dish. Blend together butter, sugar, flour and cinnamon. Work until crumbly, then pack over apples. If apples are very dry, a little water may be placed in the bottom of the dish.
Bake in a 375° oven for 45 - 60 minutes.
