Ingredients
- 3/4 C. Orzo
- 4 Tbsp. (1/2 stick) Butter
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves, peeled & minced
- 1 lb. Uncooked Lg. Shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
- 1/3 C. Dry White Wine
Preparation
Step 1
Cook orzo in lg. saucepan of boiling, salted water till al dente, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, melt 2 Tbsp. butter with oil in lg. skillet over med-high heat. Add garlic; stir 10 sec. Add green onions & toss till shrimp are just opaque in center, approx. 1 min. longer. Add wine & toss till wine boils, approx. 1 min. Mix in remaining 2 Tbsp. butter & season to taste with salt & pepper. Drain pasta; transfer to lg. bowl. Top with shrimp & onion-garlic butter.
