Ingredients
- 1/2 cup barley
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2-3 ribs of celery (include tops cut up)
- 2-3 cup chopped tomato
- 2 Tbsp Fresh basil or 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 6 cup chicken
- variation: add 1-2 cup sliced mushroom
Preparation
Step 1
Put in large pot. Bring to a boil & let simmer covered for 1-1 1/2 hours.
