Ingredients
- 1 large can tomato puree
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1/4 c olive oil
- spices: basil, oregano, garlic, onion
Preparation
Step 1
Combine puree with salt and pepper in a heavy saucepan, cooking over medium heat for about 30 minutes while constantly stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in olive oil.
Add spices to taste, if desired.
