Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- red food coloring (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Crush strawberries and add water. Cook 2 minutes, sieve. Mix cornstarch with sugar and slowly stir in hot berry mixture. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly.
Cook and stir until mixture is thick and clear. (Add red food coloring if desired). Cool to room temperature and pour glaze over cake.
