Cheddar and Jalepeno Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups yellow corn meal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbl sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cup (6 oz) cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15oz) can creamed corn
  • 1/2 cup canned, diced, drained jalepenos
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2) butter melted

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except butter.

Stir in melted butter.

Bake 45 min, let cool in pan for 15 min.
