Turnip Casserole

Ingredients

  • Cook 1 turnip (rutabaga), this makes 2 cups
  • OR
  • Cook 2 PC 454g or 1 lb containers, cut up
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Drain turnip and mash with hand mixer, add above ingredients and place into a buttered dish.
Mix some more butter and bread crumbs and sprinkle over top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
