Ingredients
- 6 eggs, separated
- 4 tbsps. butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 tsps. cinnamon, use less
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 lb wide egg noodles
- 6 medium apples, peeled, cored, sliced thin
- 1 cup white raisins
Preparation
Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions. Mix noodles with melted butter. Add beaten egg yolks, sugar, cinnamon,apples, raisins, vanilla and lemon juice. Mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into noodle mixture into buttered 13x9" baking pan. Bake 40 minutes @ 350 degrees uncovered.
