Ingredients

  • TOPPING:
  • 3 CUPS COOKED & MASHED SWEET POTATOES / ABOUT 2 LARGE POTATOES
  • 3/4 STICK OF OLEO (BUTTER) MELTED
  • 1 TSP VANILLA
  • 1/3 CUP OF EVAP. OR PLAIN MILK
  • 1 CUP OF SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS
  • 1 CUP COCONUT (OPTIONAL)
  • CINNAMON TO TASTE /ABOUT 1-1/4 TSP
  • 1-1/2 TSP WHOLE CLOVES
  • 1-1/2 TSP NUTMEG
  • 3/4 STICK OLEO, MELTED
  • 1 TB OF FLOUR
  • 1 CUP OF BROWN SUGAR
  • 1 CUP OF CHOPPED PECANS OR YOU CAN USE MARSHMELLOWS ON TOP INSTEAD.

Preparation

Step 1

COMBINE ALL INGREDIENDTS IN A MIXING BOWL. POUR INTO LARGE CASSEROLE BAKING DISH. SPRINKLE TOPPING OVER POTATO MIXTURE. BAKE. COOKING TEMPERATURE AT 350 DEGREES.

TOPPING:
COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS IN A SMALL BOWL AND MIX WELL. POUR ON TOP OF CASSEROLE AND COOK. IF USING MARSHMELLOWS PLACE ON TOP OF CASSEROLE LAST 5 MINUTES OF COOKING. COOK JUST UNTIL MELTED AND SLIGHTLY BROWNED.
