Ingredients
- 4 Large Baked potatoes cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 2/3 c. margarine
- 2/3 c. flour
- 6 c. milk
- 3/4 ts. Salt
- 1/2 ts. Pepper
- 4 green onion, finely chopped
- 12 slices bacon, cook crisp
- 1 1/2 c. cheddar cheese – shredded
- 8 oz. Sour cream
- 1 heaping teaspoon chicken base.
Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot melt margarine, add flour – stir. Add milk, salt, pepper and green onion, bring to a simmer. Add potatoes, bacon, cheese, sour cream and chicken base. Cook over medium heat, stirring often. Makes approximately 10 cups.
