Ingredients
- 2 Quarts Apple Cider {I like Tree-Top Apple Cider}
- 1/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 1/8 tsp. ground Ginger
- 1 Orange ~ unpeeled, and cut into wedges
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 tsp. Whole Cloves
- Small square of Cheesecloth
Preparation
Step 1
Tie up Cinnamon Sticks and Whole Cloves into Cheesecloth or add loose and strain when done.
Add Apple Cider and all other ingredients into slow cooker.
Cover and simmer on low.
Cider will be ready in about 3 hours, but can continue simmering on low.
Remove cheescloth bag and orange wedges, and serve! Strain if cheesecloth not used.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated the next day.
