French Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Onions
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • 2 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 1 Liter of Chicken or Beef Stock
  • Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Thinly Slice Onions and saute in butter and oil for 1 hour until golden brown and caramelized.

Turn off heat and let sit for one minute. After 1 minute scrape bottom so that flavors get on the onion.

Add Stock and serve with Toasted Bread and Gruyere Cheese.
