Ingredients
- 8 oz. whole wheat macaroni
- 1 T plus 2 t flour
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/8 t peper
- 1 T bread crumbs
- 1 T grated parmesan
- 1 T butter
Preparation
Step 1
Cook macaroni. Drain.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Add flour and whisk for 1 min.
Add milk. Keep whisking until thickens.
Add cheese, salt and pepper.
Stir until cheese melts.
Mix in macaroni.
Place in baking dish. Sprinkle on breadcrumbs and parmesan.
Broil until golden.
