Oven Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 15 c popped popcorn
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1/4 c light corn syrup
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 t baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 200. Divide popcorn between 2 ungreased pans 13x9x2. Heat brown sugar, margarine, corn syup and salt over medium heat stirring until bubbly around edges. Cook 5 minutes stirring occasionally; remove from heat. Stir in baking soda. Pour over popcorn. Stir until well coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
