Strawberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake - Deandra McLeod

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. softened butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 pt. strawberries, sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, cheese and sugar together until fluffy. Add salt and butter flavoring. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour. Gradually add strawberries, folding in gently after each addition. Pour into loaf pans lined with waxed paper or which are nonstick. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours approximately, or until loaves are light golden brown on top. Remove to wire rack and cool thoroughly.
