Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 cups blueberries
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Preparation
Step 1
In saucepan bring 2 cups water and sugar to a boil stirring until sugar is completely dissolved
Add blueberries reduce heat and simmer until berries fall apart when pressed lightly 5-10 minutes
Remove from heat, stir in zest and juice. Let cool. Strain through fine sieve pressing down lightly on solids to extract liquid, discard solids.
Freeze until solid 6-8 hours or overnight
