Ingredients
- 6 scallions
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 # jumbo lump crab meat
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 TBS drianed bottled horseradish
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice, or to taste
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp worcestershire
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
Preparation
Step 1
1. Finely chop scallion and mince garlic.
2. Pick over crab meat to remove any bits of shell and cartilage.
3. In a bowl stir together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
4. Stir in all ingredients except crab meat until well-combined. Fold in crab meat until just combined.
5. Chill crab spread, covered at least 8 hours and up to 1 day to develop flavors.
