Pork Chop Treat

Ingredients

  • 6-8 center cut pork chops
  • 1 1/2 T. yellow mustard
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 can cream corn
  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 2 T. grated onion
  • 1 t. minced green pepper(optional)
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/8 t. black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Spread mustard on chops
Brown
Arrange browned chops in shallow baking pan
Pour off fat left in frying pan and add hot water, stirring well to loosen bits of meat from bottom of pan.
Pour over chops
Combine corn, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper
Place mixture in mounds on top of chops
Bake at 325-350 for 1 hour til chops are tender
