White Sauce for Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 T stick margarine
  • 3 T all-purpose flour
  • 2 T butter flavor granules (I use Butter Buds)
  • 3 t reduced-soduim chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 1/2 C boiling water
  • 1 C skim milk
  • pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in flour, butter buds and bouillon until blended. Gradually add water and milk. Bring to boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Season with pepper.
