Ingredients
- 4 oz dry egg noodles (about 1 1/2 c)
- 1/2 lb lean pork,sliced into thin strips
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 c sherry (if desired)
Preparation
Step 1
Cook egg noodles in 5 cups oiling water
Stir frequently and cook uncovered for 7-10 min or until noodles are cooked to desired doneness
Drain and set aside
Thoroughly mix pork,soy sauce,sugar,cornstarch and sherry
In 5 c boiling water stir in pork mixture and cook covered for 3 min
Add cooked noodles,oil and salt
Stir and let boil
Serve hot
