Ingredients
- 2-3 pieces chicken
- 1 large onion
- 1 T. dried parsley
- 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 T. dried bell pepper
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage
- 1 c. rice
- 2 t. chicken or beef bouillon
Preparation
Step 1
Dredge chicken pieces in flour & brown with sausage in oil in a heavy pot with lid. To the pot, add remaining ingredients, except rice but add 2 cups of water. When liquid comes to a boil, add 2 teaspoons chicken or beef bouillon, add rice & stir. Lower heat to simmer, cover pot & do not remove or lift cover for 30 minutes.
