Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. raisins (optional)
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, sage, and thyme to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Place bread slices on baking sheets and toast in the oven at 400 degrees. Watch closely and turn the slices over when the bottoms are golden.

Break the toast into pieces in large pan. Sprinkle water over the toast to moisten. Add other ingredients and combine.

Stuff into turkey cavities. Roast at 325 approximately 20 minutes per pound.
