Blueberry Pie

  • 9 -inch
  • Pastry for two-crust pie
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 TBs lemon juice
  • 2 TBs butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Stir together sugar, flour and cinnamon; mix with berries. Turn into pastry-lined pie pan; sprinkle with lemon juice and dot with butter.

2. Cover with top crust, seal and flute. Cut slits in top crust. Brush with milk, dust with sugar. Cover edge with strips of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Remove foil last 15 minutes of baking.

3. Bake at 425 degrees for 35 - 45 minutes or until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
