Ingredients
- 2 C. cream
- 1/2 C. bourbon
- Sachet of chamomile tea
- 1 T. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 sweet potatoes
- 3 pears
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine cream, bourbon, tea, salt and pepper ina saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and discard sachet.
2. Layer very thin slices of sweet potato and pears in 12 inch baking pan, starting and ending with sweet potatoes. Pour liquid over gratin.
3. Cover with foil and bake in 300 degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more, making sure top does not dry out.
