5 Hour Beef Stew - Chris Abell

Daddy's cousin, Bernadine, gave me this recipe. This is a meal that you can put together in the morning, and when you get home at night, have dinner ready to go.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef Stew Meat
  • 4-5 Medium Potatoes, Cubed
  • 4-5 Carrots, Cubed
  • 1 pkg Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbl Tapioca
  • 2 cups Water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix thoroughly soup mix, salt, tapioca and water. Pour over meat, potatoes and carrots. Cover and put in oven at 250 for 5 hours. No need to stir. You can cut up 2-3 stalks of celery if you have any.

Good with crescent rolls or some other kind of dinner rolls.
