Ingredients
- 3-4 pound beef roast
- sliced onions
- carrots
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Put beef roast (trim fat) in a slow cooker on high. DO NOT add water or brown first. Add sliced onions, salt, pepper and cut up carrots. Put cover on and let cook approximately 6 hours. Meat will be very tender and in lots of juice. While in the cooker, use a fork and pull meat apart in juice, removing bones and any gristle you find. Serve with mashed potatoes or on a hard roll with a tossed salad.
