Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups dried whole wheat or regular penne pasta, prepared according to package directions
- 12 oz. extra lean ground beef
- 2 containers (15 oz. each)of refrigerated marinara sauce (to make dish extra simple)
- 1/3 cup (about 1-1/2 oz.)shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup (3 oz.) shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
cook beef in large, non stick skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink; drain. Stir in pasta, sauce, and half of Parmesan cheese. Spoon into ungreased 12 x 7-1/2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and remaining Parmesan cheese.
Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through
