Pumpkin Magic Cake

Ingredients

  • For cake
  • 1 box yellow cake mix plus ingredients needed to make
  • For the Pumpkin Pie
  • 1-15 oz can pupmkin puree
  • 1 \2 c evaporated milk
  • 1 \2 c heavy cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • For the frosting
  • 1-4 serving size box vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 c cold milk
  • 8 ozcool whip, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven 350 degrees
Prepare cake mix according to instructions, don't bake set aside
Whisk together the ingredients for the pumpkin pie (pumpkin,nevaporated milk,cream, eggs, brown sugar & pumpkin pie spice) until smooth
Slowly pour the pumpkin pie mixturenall over the cake mix
Bake for 50-60 minutes. note: cake might be slightly darker than normal
Let cool to room temp.
Make frosting: place vanilla pudding mix in bowl add the pumpkin pie spice & pour in milk, whisk until combined & starting thicken
Gently fold in cool whip until it is completely combined
Spread on top of cooled cake
