Turkey Marengo

Ingredients

  • 3 turkey legs, deboned and cut into serving pieces
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 3 T vegetable oil
  • 1 T curry powder
  • 2 c chicken broth
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions in hot oil until soft. Add turkey pieces and fry until brown. Stir in apple and curry. j Cook 2 minutes. Add broth, lemon juice and tomatoes. Mix well, simmer for 50 minutes. Serve with rice
