Cranberry Sherbert

Ingredients

  • 2 c sugar
  • 3 c water
  • 1 T gelatin
  • 1 c cranberry pulp
  • 1 bag cranberries
  • juice of 2 lemons OR 5 T ReaLemon
  • 1 c orange juice

Preparation

Step 1

Boil 2 c sugar and 3 c water, stir until dissolved. Remove. Put 1 T gelatin in 1/2 c cold water for 5 min. Add to sugar water, stir until dissolved. Add 1 c cranberry pulp. Put 1 bag cranberries in bowl, bring to boil. Water to cover. Colander with bowl underneath wood pestle. Stuff comes out is what you want. Let cool. Add juice of 2 lemons OR 5 T ReaLemon and 1 c orange juice. Put in container in freezer and mostly freeze. Beat with hand mixer
