Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped and divided
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8-ounce) package Velveeta cheese
- 1 tablespoon ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 24 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 1 (32-ounce) package frozen tater tots
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 2/3 cup dill pickles, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Reheat oven to 400°F. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook beef and 1 cup of the onion, crumbling meat, until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Drain.
Stir in the tomato sauce, processed cheese mustard and Worcestershire sauce until cheese is melted, 4 to 6 minutes.
Transfer to greased 13x9-inch dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bacon. Top with tater tots. Bake, uncovered, 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly. Top with tomato, pickles and remaining onion.
