Creamy Carrot Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 T butter
  • 3/4 c onion
  • 8-10 carrots
  • 3-5 potatoes
  • 6 c chicken stock
  • 1/2 t thyme
  • bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/8 t Tabasco
  • 1/2 t sugar
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 T butter

Preparation

Step 1

Cook all but last 2 ingredients until very soft. Remove bay leaf and puree. Add milk and extra butter.
