PEAR JAM (FROZEN)

  • 1 tsp fruit fresh
  • 1 pkg. MCP Pectin
  • 2 cups pears, crushed
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Yellow food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

Mix fruit fresh (acid), sugar, let stand 20 minutes. Stir several times during the 20 minute period.
Boil water and pectin 1 minute, mix with fruit and stir for 2 minutes, add yellow food coloring a little at a timer until you reach the desired color.

Put in jars and leave 24 hours then put in freezer.
