Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 2-3 small cans, mushroom caps
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
Preparation
Step 1
Moistn chicken with water. Coat chicken with cracker crumbs mixed with salt and pepper. Let stand 15 minutes. Melt butter. Brown chicken on all sides. Put chicken in baking dish. In browning pan, put onion and mushrooms. Saute until onion is soft. Stir in chicken broth and wine. Bring to a boil, pour over chicken. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
